How it hits and why overcoming this crisis could be the best for your personal and our global future.

THE OVERWHELM OF TODAY
Uncertainty dominates the current sentiment, leaving many feeling powerless amid the world's chaos. I call it the APOCALYPSE-MELANCHOLY and it can lead to anxiety, causing feelings of helplessness about the future. However, there are strategies to find hope and build resilience to overcome this state of mind. Look at it like this: If this crisis will trigger us to grow on a personal level and on a global scale, this might be the best opportunity for all of us to expand and to ascend, although enduring it can be extremely challenging.
How do I know this? I've gone through this transformation myself and emerged stronger, lighter, and more positive, which is why I feel compelled to write this post. I believe we are witnessing a significant shift, where not just "spiritual" individuals are awakening. We are in the midst of several waves of mass awakenings, and the more people who can hold their space and/or transform their shadows, the more light we will experience in the coming months, years, and decades.
Some people might believe that the actions of a single person aren't sufficient to change the world, but I say: if we don't try, we'll never know. The stakes are too high not to try, aren't they?
"The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking."
Albert Einstein
THE PROJECTION OF REALITY
Let me drop the most uncomfortable part first: Feeling down and lamenting about all the negativity in the world won't benefit anyone. Change begins when more individuals embrace the quantum physical reality that we are co-creators of the universe. We are NOT helpless recipients nor victims of the system; we play an active role in this, even when we are not aware of it. Everything that manifests on this planet first exists in the invisible realm before taking form in 3D. This is not only a spiritual belief or some hocus-pocus; it is known as quantum physics.
Reality is not fixed; everyone experiences and creates their own version. We are constantly ON AIR. The Mind, guided by thoughts and stories, plays a key role in this process - it is like a projector constantly emitting into the collective field.
WHAT TO DO IF THE FEAR OF THE APOCALYPSE HITS?
HONESTY AND DETACHMENT ARE KEY
This might sound trivial at first, but it is a crucial step to integrate: YOU ARE NOT WHAT YOUR MIND IS TELLING YOU. Your thoughts are stories the mind creates based on unresolved experiences multiplied by what you feed your mind with. But it is important to know that these thoughts are NOT part of your identity, so avoid the trap of identifying with them. Allow them to exist, observe them without engaging. Try not to judge or fight them, just acknowledge them and let them pass like clouds in the sky.
BRING YOURSELF BACK TO THE PRESENT MOMENT
If you're experiencing fear, your thoughts are likely focused on a future scenario. The mind creates a terrifying story that hasn't occurred. To address this, recognize it and ground yourself in the present moment. Conscious breathing is one of the fastest way to bring your attention back to the present, because one can only breathe in the present. The same applies when you feel regrets or your mind spirals around something unresolved. Of course there are various ways to refocus on the present moment, some people experience same effects while dancing, singing, swimming, gardening, playing an instrument etc. More important than how you do it, is that you do it!
Here are some specific exercises which can help - even within three minutes of practice you will feel a change:
IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS TRY THIS
In a case of acute panic, try to close the right nostril and breathe for a couple of minutes only through the left nostril, this will help you to calm down fast, because this simple exercise will activate the para-sympathetic nervous system in a short span of time.
STRENGTHEN YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
All eyes on the nervous system! It is more important than ever that we are grounding ourselves and guard our attention. A lot of people are living their lives on autopilot, some are stuck in a constant state of fight-and-flight-response.
Here are some inspirations of how to strengthen your nervous system and how to recharge yourself. Most of them do not cost money at all.
CONTINUITY CREATES A SENSE OF SAFETY IN TIMES OF UNCERTAINTY
Commit to one nurturing habit a day for 5min. Create a non-negotiable space for your well-being and stick to it. It can be breath work, meditation, journal, chanting, reading
Take daily breaks where you lay or sit down with closed eyes and unwind yourself: Meditate, breathe consciously, try Yoga Nidra or any kind of guided meditation that resonates with you or just relax while listening to music that elevates you
Observe your thoughts and the way you talk to yourself: Whenever you catch yourself talking not nicely to yourself, find an affirmation that overwrites the negative statement.
Engage in physical activity (sports, yoga, gardening, wood chopping, fishing etc.) on a regular basis
Replace doom-scrolling with an analogue activity like reading, cooking healthy food, singing songs, journal, drawing, Origami, sewing, sending a postcard to someone you love
Make it a habit to help someone in your circle of friends or family
Write down all the things you are grateful for on a regular base
Be aware of which energies you nurture with your attention
Set healthy boundaries and say no in order to protect your regenerative space and to recharge yourself
Try to get enough sleep, the hours before midnight are recommended
STRENGHTEN YOURSELF BY GROUNDING AND RAISING AWARENESS
Walk barefoot in nature
Start writing a journal
Plant something as the smell of a microorganism (Mycobacterium vaccae) releases serotonin and is a natural antidepressant
Sing under the shower and observe your heart space while doing it
Go for walks in the nature, try silent walking or hug a tree
While eating chew your food well and avoid watching a screen during meals
Clean your feed on Social media: Every content that feels manipulative or bad energy: Unfollow!!
Have cold showers in the morning
Put 1-2 drops of your favorite essential oil in your palms, inhale the smell deeply for a couple of times, do that before sleep or before having a walk
Try sun gazing, early sun rays are the most potent
Chant Mantras while folding laundry, washing the dishes and see how you feel
Stay hydrated: Prefer water over anything else
Minimize screen time whenever possible, go offline two hours before sleep
Engage with animals and kids - they automatically will keep you in the present moment
Minimize sugary and processed foods and observe the impact it has on your mind
Massage yourself: Neck, ears, feet and legs...
Write a love letter to yourself
"The measure of intelligence is the ability to change."
Albert Einstein
BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD
Since I started to realize how my energy impacts the collective, I strive to maintain a high vibration. Even if I don't succeed all the time I try and keep on doing the work to stay grounded as much as possible.
The concept of acknowledging ourselves as co-creators of this world, comes with a responsibility. I can see why adopting a victim mentality is tempting: Admitting that we are co-creating our problems is not easy. The good news is, if it is us who created the world we are living in, it is also us who can change it. What we need is the courage to shift our realities and to be open for change. Not only for our own sake and growth, for the benefit and development of everyone else on this planet. If everyone made efforts to keep their frequency high, we would experience change on a global scale much faster.
If this resonates or helped you in any way, drop a heart or comment below. I am always happy to read from you - also in a direct message.
Lots of love, abundance, health, strength and stardust to everyone in all the galaxies.
