WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!

We determine our reality by means of our thoughts and actions. If we don't like the world around us, we can change it by changing our way of thinking, speaking and acting.

THE REVELATION
Tears were running down my cheeks when I first realized during my Teacher Training that the energy of all the words I have ever spoken, thought or written will last forever in the universe! This profound epiphany struck me as I began to grasp the immense responsibility that comes with our verbal and mental expressions.
Think about it: The universe doesn't speak English, nor another language. Instead, it communicates through frequency and vibration. Every thought, every word, every whisper of intention that we emit into the cosmos carries a unique frequency that has the potential to manifest in ways we may not fully comprehend. This means that our expressions — both the positive and the negative ones — echo throughout the vastness of existence, influencing not only our own lives but also the world around us.
The untrained mind is boundless and therefore difficult to tame; it wanders aimlessly, often caught in a web of negativity, fear and doubt, which can lead to unintended consequences. Once we understand that and the fact that we are NOT our thoughts, we can consciously start enhancing our projection. This crucial realization allows us to step back from the incessant chatter of our minds, to observe our thoughts without judgment, and to recognize that we can choose the frequencies we empower.
ABRAKADABRA
The concept of projection and manifestation can be found in many spiritual practices. Likewise in kabbalistic tradition, it literally is believed that we create as we speak. The word "Abrakadabra" originates from the Hebrew language: "abra" ( derives from "I will create" - אבּרא ) kadabra ( as I speak - כדבּרא ).
"Don't speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn't know the difference. Words are energy and they cast spells, that's why it's called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself, and you can change your life."
Bruce Lee
HOW CAN WE RAISE OUR FREQUENCY?
By cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness, we can begin to refine our thoughts and words, aligning them with our true intentions and desires. This shift in perspective enables us to consciously create a reality that resonates with positivity, love, and light. As we learn to harness the energy of our thoughts, we can transform not only our own lives but also contribute to the collective consciousness of humanity, fostering a more harmonious existence for all. There are several tools to do so, let me mention just two of them here:
JAPA & CHANTING MANTRAS
"Jap" or "Japa" means to repeat. It is the continuous, meditative repetition of a mantra. By repeating a mantra - in the proper way - we train the mind to vibrate at a certain frequency. With every repetition our inner reality will align a bit more with the reality of infinity. Through this action we create "tapa", which is the divine or psychic heat that is able to burn karma. The karmic weight caused by our imprints of past actions can lock us into habits that are less beneficial. If we manage to burn our karma, we will discover a freedom and strength to act from consciousness rather than from impulse, which eventually will lead us to the path of dharma.
AWARENESS & AFFIRMATIONS
Recognizing how we communicate with ourselves and others is the initial step in improving our realities. Positive affirmations are power sentences that can raise the frequency of the way we talk to ourselves. These phrases are used to counter negative thoughts. Replacing critical or negative self-talk with uplifting statements can enhance neural pathways in the brain. As these thoughts or beliefs become more automatic and frequent, they positively impact our behavior and thinking.
Research indicates that positive affirmations can reduce stress and anxiety while improving overall well-being, because our bodies respond to them by releasing endorphins and serotonin, which contribute to the experience of positive emotions and feelings of happiness.
Some examples for positive affirmations are:
Healthy, happy holy I am
I am worthy of love and success
I am perfect the way I am
I am good enough the way I am
I believe in myself and my abilities
My challenges help me grow and heal
I trust the universe to take care of everything
Making mistakes is human and helps me grow
I can change the world by changing myself
I am aware of my needs and I know how to set boundaries
I am courageous and stand up for myself
I radiate positive energy and vitality
I honor my need to rest and recharge
I have the power to change my story
God and me, me and God are one
HOW TO USE AFFIRMATIONS
An affirmation can basically be whatever you feel you might need. Me personally, I find it crucial that these statements are phrased in an uplifting way, avoiding grammatical negations. If you use words like "no" and "don't" in your power sentences, you would empower the energy of what you don't want. So make sure, you'll express what fosters your personal growth.
There are various ways to manifest: through thinking, speaking, or writing. Speaking them aloud adds sound, while writing them down gives them a physical form. It is an immediate way of transforming spirit to matter!
Choose the phrases and method that feels right for you. Start integrating them into your daily routine, repeating them as often as possible. You can also place Post-It notes around your home with your affirmation written on them. This will serve as a reminder of your empowering statements throughout the day. Most importantly, if you find yourself engaging in negative self-talk, avoid self-judgment and instead replace the negative thought with a positive one.
